Food News: Doggie Dining
"A bill allowing restaurants to permit dogs to dine with their owners is set to go before the state house next week.
Senator Dave Aronberg's doggie dining bill would tweak the food code to let restaurants allow customers to bring their canines with them, but only if cities and counties give the o-k.
The debate all began two years ago at Sam Snead's in Downtown Orlando.
State regulators ordered the restaurant, which even had a menu full of doggie treats to keep the dogs out. Ever since then, dog owners have been demanding some rights for their four legged companions."
