Wine News: Vineyard develops wine for barbecue

"(LEXINGTON) -- There's apple pie and ice cream. There's also soup and crackers. But what about barbecue and wine?

When North Carolinians sit down for a plate of barbecue, whether it's eastern or western, there's usually a big glass of syrupy sweet iced tea to wash it down. At this year's Barbecue Festival in Lexington, barbecue lovers will have a new beverage -- Fine Swine Wine.

Childress Vineyards will unveil its newest wine when the festival opens on October 22nd. The red wine was made especially for the event."
